GYMS WILL OPEN AT 8:30 AM ON SATURDAY AND 8:15 AM ON SUNDAY
PLAYERS MUST BE IN UNIFORM WHEN ENTERING THE GYM OR THEY WILL HAVE TO PAY
COACHES HAVE YOUR ROSTER TURNED AT THE SCORERS TABLE WITH NUMBERS BY HALF TIME OF THE GAME PRIOR TO YOUR

COACHES INFORMATION
Gulf coast Spring
Classic will be governed by 2017 Gulf Coast Basketball Rule except as indicated
below:
Teams must
check in 1 hour prior to 1st game, teams playing the 9:00 am and
10:00 am games can check in after their first game. Team roster must be
turned in to the scorer’s table at that time prior to first game (no changes to
team rosters can be made after 1st game. Player must be in uniform upon entering gyms,
only two coaches will be given for teams only.
Birth
certificates and report cards required and must be made available for
inspection by tournament staff.
AAU and YBOA
registrations will be accepted, if you are not register with AAU or YBOA you
must download and submit a Gulf Coast Basketball Team Roster which can be found
on our web site www.gulfcoastbasketball.com.
GAME CLOCKS: The clock will only stop for official time
outs, team time outs, official time out, and the last two minutes of each half.
Clock and Exceptions.
Divisions
for 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th grade teams will play (2) 14 minute
halves.
Divisions
for 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th grade teams will play 2) 16 minute halves.
Each
team allowed 1 thirty-second
timeouts & 1 one minute time outs each half One additional
timeout will be allowed for1st overtime period.
Over
periods will be 3 minutes
ALL
PROTESTS WILL BE SETTLED BY THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR WHO DECISION WILL BE FINAL.
